Barbara Cole
Barbara Cole is a Toronto-based, self-taught photographic artist, who has built an extraordinary career in image making. Cole’s innovation is in her underwater photography; she states “water becomes a natural lens that refocuses and reinterprets the painterly aesthetic.” Cole has exhibited extensively in Canada and internationally including at the Winnipeg Art Gallery, the Royal Ontario Museum and the Mackenzie Art Gallery.
Barbara Cole's next exhibition, titled 'Chromatics,' will be at Bau-Xi Photo in November 2010.
