  Anthony Redpath

Based in Vancouver, Anthony Redpath has built a reputation for himself as one of the top commercial photographers in Canada. Redpath maintains this position by producing photographs that seem to toy with themes of allusion and paradox, using these to create ironic, often sarcastic images. Redpath holds on to these themes with the production of his personal work, which combine his interest in contemporary art, popular culture and social issues with his strong sense of design and knowledge of technique, garnered from his work within the advertising world. Redpath combines these skills in his current body of work which explores the melancholic transformation of contemporary coastal life as altered by human actions.

Redpath’s work has been awarded by and featured in many publications, including Archive, Communication Arts, and Zoom magazine.
